ypresswood Estates is Houston’s premier afford-

segment of the seniors population. The com-
munity and architecture uses the highest possible
LEED Platinum building standards. It is the creative
vision of seasoned designers, award-winning archi-

The concept of a green, sustainable community
sets a new standard of excellence, and environmen-
tally friendly construction techniques and materials
make sustainable life much easier.
The landscape architecture is an equally import-
ant component as the architecture because every-
thing in sight supports or enhances the lifestyle of
seniors while reducing environmental impact. The
resort-like pool and clubhouse make a great place to
live while protecting the planet and improving the
quality of life. The community is centered around
a primary green space amenity. This area is forti-
fied with a playground, artificial turf, a roof drain
cistern system used for drip irrigation, as well as a
