And as we emerge post-pandemic, art and culture undoubtedly will remain forces for good, shaping the experiences of individuals and businesses alike. As part of ourmission to emphasizewhy good art is good business, we conducted a research effort during the pandemic, surveying leaders in the real estate, hos- pitality, architecture and health care sectors to better understand how art influences experience, particular- ly in commercial spaces. These efforts culminated in our 2021 State of the Art Report, which shares insights fromnearly 200 business professionals on art’s impact on engagement, branding, return on investment and more. This report confirms:When treated asmore than a decorative afterthought, art createsmemorable expe- riences that improve our quality of life. In addition to these benefits, 91% of those surveyed agreed it’s valuable when a project or space becomes known for an art collection.
