Capital markets platform in
Denver.
Buecking will work under
the direction of David Wil-
liams, leader of JLL’s Multi-
family Capital Markets, and
partner with investment sales
experts Pat Stucker and Ray
White to grow the firm’s mul-
tifamily expertise in the region.
Buecking will focus on debt
and equity placement for mul-
tifamily properties, including
market-rate properties, afford-
able housing and student hous-
ing.
Buecking holds 17 years of
commercial real estate experi-
ence and joins the firm from
KeyBank Real Estate Capital,
where he originated nearly
$600 million in loans from
agencies, FHA and life compa-
nies over the past few years.
He earned his bachelor’s
degree in finance from South-
ern Methodist University.

Kristin Decker
joined law
firm
Moye White LLP’s
Real
Estate Section
as special
counsel.
Decker’s
practice
focuses on
land plan-
ning, zoning,
real estate
and other
land use-
related issues
as well as local government
law.
From 2003 to 2016, Decker
was a senior assistant county
attorney-land use specialist for
the Douglas County Attorney's
Office. In that capacity, she
worked extensively with the
Office of Community Develop-
ment and advised the board
of county commissioners on
issues related to planning,
zoning and subdivision. Her
duties included advising on
the creation and revision of
land use regulations and ordi-
nances, subdivision improve-
ment agreements, development
agreements, easements and
licenses, and providing repre-
sentation to the planning com-
mission and board of county
commissioners during public
hearings. Decker also served
as legal adviser to the county's
Division of Open Space on
the acquisition of open space
properties and negotiation of
conservation easements.
Prior to that, Decker was in
private practice representing
special districts. She began her
legal career as assistant county
attorney for Adams County in
the real estate/land use areas.
She is a graduate of the
Chicago-Kent College of Law-
IIT, where she earned her Juris
Doctor with Honors.

Jordan Wiswell

He will

Wiswell’s legal practice
focuses on
all areas of
real estate,
business
and banking
litigation,
including
creditors'
rights, equi-
table subro-
gation issues,
judicial
foreclosures, business and cor-
porate disputes, insurance cov-
erage and all real estate-related
litigation.
Before joining the firm,
Wiswell served as a law clerk
for Judge Todd Taylor in Weld
County. Prior to moving to Fort
Collins, he worked as a law
clerk for the Connecticut Supe-
rior Court and Alaska Supe-
rior Court. In these positions,
Wiswell had the opportunity
to work on multimillion-dollar
oil and gas disputes, complex
real estate litigation and a large
variety of breach of contract
cases.
Wiswell is a 2011 graduate
with honors from the Univer-
sity of Tulsa College of Law.

Gene Hodge
was promoted
to vice president, project devel-
opment, for
Mortenson’s
Den-
ver Operating Group.
Since joining the construction
and development company
in 2005, Hodge has provided
leadership for projects in Seat-
tle, for Mortenson’s National
Sports Group and most recent-
ly in Colora-
do, where he
is principal-
in-charge
for the Ster-
ling Ranch
development
in Douglas
County.
In his vice
president
role, Hodge
will continue to lead efforts
in project development for
Mortenson as well as serving
as principal-in-charge for select
projects.

promoted
three employees in its Denver
office.
Joe Williams, Shelby
Lueckenotto
and
Emily Cox
were promoted to project man-
agers.
Williams is a landscape archi-
tect who joined the firm in 2014
after graduating from Colorado
State University. His current
workload consists of highly
diverse projects such as mixed-
use communities, multifamily
niche spaces and outdoor expe-
riences for recreation centers.
In his new role, Williams will
mentor entry-level designers
and advance his project man-
agement focus.
Lueckenotto is a graphic
designer who also joined the
company in 2014 after graduat-
ing from Kansas State Univer-
sity. She’s currently developing
brand identity, signage and
wayfinding elements for sever-
al Norris Design projects such
as Trails Edge, Vantage and
Thorncreek Pavilions. Lueck-
enotto also assists the market-
ing team with brand develop-
ment and special projects.
Cox is a marketing coordina-
tor at the firm and handles a
variety of tasks for all six Nor-
ris Design office locations. She
is responsible for preparing
qualifications and proposal
packages as well as develop-
ing both public relations and
company collateral. Cox also
manages the company’s social
media accounts and strategi-
cally guides marketing staff
across all offices.

Don Dethlefs,

Combs Dethlefs, was one of 50
individuals recognized as the
most influen-
tial national
leaders in
sports facility
design and
construction
by the
Sports-
Business
Journal.
He has lived
and practiced
architecture in
Denver his entire career and since
1982 has been involved in the
design of more than 50 arena and
event centers.
Some of his most recognizable
work includes the Chesapeake
EnergyArena, home to the Okla-
homa City Thunder, and the MTS
Centre, home to the Winnipeg
Jets. Locally the firm has been
involved in numerous facilities,
including the historic Red Rocks
Amphitheatre Visitors Center,
the 1stBank Center and ongoing
renovations to the Pepsi Center.
