This is an honor for these four students, and St. Patrick, that they have advanced from the local school selections, Regional Science & Engineering Fair, the Mississippi State Fair and now the International Level. The Regeneron Science & Engineering Fair hosts over 1,800 students from 80 countries allowing them to compete with their on-going research and data collec- tion. The awards for this event include over $9 million in scholarships. They outlined and explained their data collection procedures, representation of their results and conclusions to judges from around the world. This was an opportunity for students to network with others from around the world and share their expe- riences with students and educators from the commu- nity. Students were able to share their experiences and knowledge, including, but not limited to their own research and discoveries. Also during this experience were well known speakers who held seminars on their own research, enlightened the students on their own experiences, and gave advice for future career opportunities.
