Gulf Pine Catholic • January 19, 2024 19 I mmaculate C onception P arish , L aurel Immaculate Conception Youth Christmas Basket Lock In partnered up with our parish Christmas Basket ministry. Our youth purchased and helped with distribution for the past 15 years. Our night begins with Mass, dinner as a group, shopping for family baskets, Nailed It bake off, gingerbread house competition, night prayer, Christmas party games, breakfast and distribution of their Christmas Baskets to their cars. We had 33 teens participate this year and of course it wouldn’t be possible without our adult volunteers and coordinators. Youth Christmas Basket Lock In Life Teen Face-to-Face Retreat Immaculate Conception Life Teen Face-to-Face Retreat in November. Our core team members hosted the retreat at Lake Waukaway Retreat Center. Core team members shared their faith testimony with the struggles of life but stayed face to face with the real presence of Jesus in their lives.
