It is a welcomed blessing for us to receive the second offering contribution of $18,828.61 from the parishioners of the Diocese that provides a major support for our ministry to the Seamen that visit the Port of Gulfport during the year. We are fortunate for the dedicated services of two Catholic Church members on our Executive Committee, Darlene Barry from St. Thomas Catholic Church ·in Long Beach and Deacon Dick Henderson from St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport. Both have been long-standing board members and provide much guidance to our Board. The St. Vincent DePaul Society from St. Thomas also regularly assists us with preparing Christmas boxes as gifts to the Seamen during this time of the year. We certainly appreciate your allowing the second collection for our benefit. You can be assured that the funds are used exclusively for the furtherance of our Christian ministry at the Port of Gulfport. Thanks again, and Happy New Year for you and the Diocese for 2024.
