These outstanding students received a liter of Smart Water, a sports bottle, certificate, and a yard sign to proudly display their achievement. Recipients include: Mo, fourth grade; Finn, fifth grade; Charlie, sixth grade; Emma, fourth grade; Kellan, sixth grade; Tinley-Drew, second grade; Maisy, third grade; Celia, second grade; Lillian, third grade; Harper, first grade; Annie first grade; Emma Jo, Kindergarten. Not pictured: Bodie, Kindergarten. Holy Trinity Catholic School is an elementary school located in Bay St. Louis serving children in grades Pre-K1 through sixth grade. L ouis The Music and Fine Arts Ministry of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral, under the direction of Terry Maddox, offered a special liturgical concert service, Lenten Lessons and Reflections , on Saturday afternoon, March 9. This inspirational program featured a stirring per- formance of John Stainer’s The Crucifixion by the combined community choirs of Gloria in Excelsis and Mobile Vocal Arts, with solos by choir members Phil Frisby, Troy Dickerson, Ben Petters, and Harry DeConVasCellos. Concert Master Dr. Sasha Ferreira lead a small chamber orchestral ensemble of strings and flute. Chris Nemac, Music Director of Government Street Presbyterian Church of Mobile, provided piano accompaniment. As spiritual interludes to the musical piece, readings from the Holy Gospels of Saints John, Mark and Luke telling of Christ’s Passion were offered by Michael and Traci Kessler. J oseph the W orker P arish , M oss P oint Movie Outing The Ladies Auxiliary from St. Joseph in Moss Point made an afternoon outing for lunch and the viewing of the newly released Mother Cabrini movie. These outings allow the ladies to fellowship outside of their ministry to the parish. O ur M other of M ercy P arish , P ass C hristian Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church celebrated a wonderful Lenten Revival on Monday, March 4, and Tuesday, March 5. Our Lenten Revivalist, Deacon Charles Ray Richard from Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, Louisiana, served us with messages of “There's Glory in Your Story” and “Make God Known by the Road that You Travel.” The evening continued with the amazing musical sounds of praise and worship from the OMM Mass Choir, and guest singer, Mercedes Major from Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, Louisiana. We were blessed to have visitors from neighboring parishes as well as the SVD Laity Ministry of Holy Ghost Catholic Church joining with OMM SVD Laity Ministry. The Revival ended Tuesday evening with a Penance Service and Adoration. Lenten Revival
