Our Lady of the Gulf Parish, Bay St. Louis St. Clare Parish, Waveland Fr. Jacob-Mattew, OFM, pastor of St Clare, gathered those making their First Communion around the altar at the point of consecration to hear the words of consecration, and to give them that feeling of receiving the Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus the first time, like the apostles at the Last Supper. Those making their First Communion were: Regan Adam, Rimmer Adam, Nathan Aguilar, Beau Butcher, Leah Darby, Leah Felder, Water Foret, Alice Foret, Henry Foret, Raeya Hawkins, Alayia Hawkins, Harbor Lanrum, Madison Mayfield, Brooklyn Mitchell, Catherine Peterson, Evan Peterson, Landyn Richard, Ella Skok, Quinn Spell, Madison Sullivan, and Celia Wilson. Mission of Holy Trinity celebrated a Mass for First Holy Communion on May 26.
