He began his education at Coast Episcopal School before transitioning to online school for seventh and eighth grade. In ninth grade, he enrolled at St. Stanislaus, where he excelled academically and in extracurricular activi- ties. Sam has achieved an impressive, weighted GPA of 4.53 and an ACT score of 35. Throughout his high school career, he has taken six Advanced Placement (AP) classes and five Honors classes. For his senior year, he is enrolled in a rigorous course load that includes AP English/Literature, AP Calculus, AP Computer Science, AP Physics, and AP U.S. Government. His commitment to excellence is reflected in his AP exam scores, where he earned a perfect score of 5 on all but one exam, in which he scored a commendable 4. In addition to his academic achievements, Sam is actively involved in several school organizations including the National Honor Society, Nu Alpha Theta, and Youth Legislature. He also plays for the Saint Stanislaus tennis team, showcasing his versa- tility and dedication to both academics and athletics. Looking ahead, Sam aims to study Business and Finance at the undergraduate level, with aspirations to attend law school. Satvik Kompella , originally from South India, relocated to Diamondhead with his family in 2014. The son of Amu and Rama Kompella, he attended East Hancock and Hancock Middle School before joining St. Stanislaus in the seventh grade. Throughout his high school career, Satvik has Williams Kompella Farve consistently demonstrated exceptional academic tal- ent, maintaining an impressive, weighted GPA of 4.56 and achieving a stellar ACT score of 35. His commitment to rigorous academics is evident in his coursework, having completed 4 AP classes and 9 Honors classes, and he has earned perfect scores (5) on several AP exams, including AP European History, AP US History, AP Pre-Calculus, and AP Computer Science Principles. For his senior year, he has enrolled in a challenging lineup of AP courses, including Biology, Physics, Calculus, Government, English/Literature, and Computer Science. In addition to his academic achievements, Satvik is actively involved in various school clubs, such as Student Ambassadors, National Honor Society, Nu Alpha Theta, Key Club, Youth Legislature, and Bright Futures. Gibson Williams hails from Pass Christian and later moved to Bay St. Louis. He transferred to St. Stanislaus in the eighth grade after attending Coast Episcopal School. Gibson is the son of Andrew and Brandy Williams. Throughout his high school expe- rience, he has emerged as a committed student and an active member of various school organizations, effectively balancing his academic pursuits with a diverse array of interests and responsibilities. Gibson has demonstrated exceptional academic prowess, maintaining a weighted GPA of 4.56 and achieving a near-perfect ACT score of 35. His aca- demic record is further distinguished by his perfor- mance in Advanced Placement (AP) courses, where he has excelled in four classes and earned the highest possible score of 5 on all AP exams. For his senior year, Gibson has embraced a challenging curriculum that includes AP Biology, AP Physics, AP Calculus, AP Government, AP English/Literature, and AP Computer Science, showcasing his commitment to academic excellence and his ability to handle com- plex subjects across multiple disciplines. J oseph P arish , G ulfport Father Joseph Uko recently held a blessing and investiture for thirteen people who are dedicating themselves to following the example of Mary through the devotion to the Brown Scapular. Through this investiture they belong to the Carmelite ‘family’, declare their consecration to and trust in Mary and have an incentive to imitate our Lady’s virtues, especially her humility, chastity, and prayerfulness. Father Uko is hoping to have a future investiture ceremony as parishioners learn more about this devotion.
