The goal of the club is to increase our education and knowledge of investing. We study various investments before buying or selling stocks. During the season, the club meets every thirdThursday of the month in the Computer Lab Classroom at 9:30 a.m. The next meeting will be on Thursday, November 15, 2018. The Leisure World Shalom Group meets on the third Sunday of every month in the Rec. 1 King Card Room. Our next meeting will be held on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. We will have a very insightful program by Jay Bennett who will discuss the Holocaust. Refreshments will be served. Stained Glass Club Submitted by Kay Eakin We hope to see returning members and interested residents on Monday, Nov. 5 at 8:30 a.m.! If you miss it, come s e our table at the Activity Fair and Open House event that afternoon from 1-3 p.m. in Rec. 1. We offer lessons for beginners! For $20, we teach cuttin , grinding and foiling of two small projects. You may use beginner kits for these pr jects and glass. If you decide you like it after completing your two projects, join the Stain Glass Club. This will give you access to stained glass, fused glass and mosaics.
