Due to increasing recycling processing fees and decreasing commodity values, the City of Mesa has found it necessary to reevaluate its entire recycling program. While we value the importance and place a high priority on conserving our natural resources, we must also take into account financial considerations to ensure we are able to maintain a sustainable program. As many residents know, the blue bins were removed fromVia Norte Yard on Friday, November 8, 2019. Residents must now dispose of paper and cardboard in their normal trash pickup. The City of Mesa does offer to recycle for their residential trash customers for an additional cost. We are a county island, so this does not pertain to Leisure World. The Via Norte Yard has a dumpster for overflow if your curbside garbage container is full before your weekly pickup. Recycling Options J&C Recycling 431 S. Do not leave your pet unattended outside or without a leash. 4. Do Not Run, Make Noise: If you encounter a coyote, do not run. Instead, make loud noises to signal for help. ¬ e noise will also scare the coyote into running the opposite direction. 5. Defend Yourself: You can throw stones, pebbles or spray a hose to make a coyote ee. Remember, if challenged, a coyote will often retreat. 6. Shield with Odor: Coyotes do not like strong scents.
