A38 March 2022 • Community • www.lwca.com John Leslie Iseminger John Leslie (Les) Iseminger passed from this earth on January 20 in Sarasota, Florida. He was surrounded by his family. Les was born on May 8, 1949, in Inglewood, California and was raised in Orlando, Florida. He graduated from Cincinnati Bible College where he met his wife, Gaye Lewis. Les became a science teacher and taught at Constantine Middle School for 31 years. He also coached wrestling, baseball and softball. Les loved sports and spent years umpiring and officiating. Many lives were touched by Les, and those who knew him witnessed his integrity, loyalty and work ethic. He was a servant to others and to the Lord. Throughout his life, he was known for his beautiful singing voice. Les is preceded in death by his parents, Amy and Grant, and his brother Richard. He is survived by his wife Gaye, his sister Janine, his son Ladd and wife Emily, daughter Amy and husband JJ Wicke, and his grandchildren Kelsey, Jack, Ben and Levi. Services will be on Friday, March 18 at 3:30 p.m. in the King Card Room at Leisure World in Mesa, Arizona. Donations can be made to Leisure World Pickleball Club, 908 S. Power Rd. Mesa, AZ 85206. Life Tributes Solon (Mo) Mobley Solon (Mo) Mobley passed away on January 31, 2022. He was 78. Solon was born on April 2, 1943, in Monroe, Louisiana. Solon proudly served 20 years in the US Marine Corps and an additional 26 years as a civil servant for the Department of Defense. While stationed at MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina, he met his bride Avis Cox. They were married at St Michael the Archangel Chapel in Cherry Point and were blessed with 55 years together. After Solon and Avis both retired from theDepartment of Defense, they settled in Leisure World in 2008 to be near family and enjoy all the amenities Leisure World offered. Solon loved to golf, fish and hunt. He was an active 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Fr William J. Mitchell Assembly 3817. He was also a member of the Marine Corps League, Saguaro Detachment 554. Surviving family members are his wife Avis; one daughter Rhonda (Greg), one son Brian; four grandchildren: Hollie (Jack), Samantha, Dillon and Megan; one brother Leroy and two sisters JoAnn and Sue. A funeral mass was held at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mesa on Feb. 5, 2022.
