What started as an 8-member steel band back in 1997, has grown into a 15+ member ensemble. Their repertoire includes Latin and pop songs with an array of island tunes that will create an atmosphere of pure joy, especially in the beautiful Courtyard. Over the years, their appeal has led them to be repeatedly invited to entertain the crowd of partygoers prior to performances by the immensely popular Jimmy Buffett, as well as at the annual Rock-N-Roll Marathon in Phoenix. Menu is two pancakes, two link sausages, syrup, juice, coffee and water. Bring the whole gang up for breakfast then enjoy the little ones as they scramble for eggs in the Courtyard at the Egg Hunt. The egg hunt is open to all grandchildren and guests ages ten and younger. The hunt area will be divided into age groups. Those “hunting” will get candy or toy filled eggs, and special prizes will be given to those who find Easter tokens. Children need to bring their own bag or basket to carry their eggs. There will be games for the younger kids to play on the Promenade and older kids will enjoy the challenges on the Sport Court. Please sign up in the Recreation Office by Tuesday, April 12 with your name, manor number, number of children and their ages.
