Leisure World News • Recreation • March 2022 B15 When you register for Lorri’s Arts & Craft classes, you will have a chance to interact, learn and create seasonal themed pieces that you can take home or give away as a beautiful, personalized gift to a loved one! All supplies are free to you, just come with smiles and an open mind as Lorri leads the class to create everything from ornaments to potting rocks! There will be fun for everyone! We have two classes open for registration. In March, you will be making wood magnets. In April, we will make no-sew bunnies, prefect for Easter! Register online or in the Recreation Office. Sign up in the Recreation Office by 12 noon, Tuesday, March 22 to be sure your sale gets highlighted on the list. A listing by district, of all garage sale locations, and maps of the community will be available online, in the back of the LW Library, Administration Reception Desk, and Recreation Office starting Thursday, March 24 for you to plan your day of shopping! Date: Sat., Mar. 26 Time: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Map Deadline: Tues., Mar. 22 Community-Wide Garage Sale Sunshine Acres goal is to provides the emotional, social, physical, educational and spiritual support for the children in our care, so they may learn to manage their own affairs along with maximizing the development of their potential, abilities and interests. Your donation will help them reach their goal. All donations must be in good working order, no rips, tears or stains of any items. All smaller items, such as kitchenware, lines small appliance, clothing and decorative items must be in boxes or bags prior to being picked up.
