Leisure World News • Golf • March 2022 B33 Coyote Run  Women’s Golf Association   Submitted by Nancy Gerlach  The Coyote Run Women’s Golf Association held our annual President’s Cup Tournament in January. This two-day event and was on January 18 and January 25. The person with the lowest net score wins the tournament. See our January results below. On Saturday, January 29, Leona Mott had her 95 Birthday. The Coyote Run Women had a small get together for her on Friday, January 28. Everyone met in the parking lot before the 12:30 p.m. shot gun start and showered her with cards and well wishes. You will often see her golfing on Coyote Run and not slowing down a bit. She is an inspiration to us all! After a two-year hiatus, Tartans has started up again. The event is held every two weeks on Sundays with a different game played each week. The sign-up sheet is located on the bulletin board in the men’s social space at the club house. Each team must consist of a man and woman, but you do not have to be married to each other. A closest to the pin prize and a 50/50 drawing is included. There is a $5 charge per couple. As a fun way to end the day, the golfers will meet at the Pavilion after the round is completed. Everyone brings their own drinks and food. The Club Championship is in March. Hope to see you all out on the course as the weather gets warmer!
