51st ‘Lost Dutchman Days’ Coming
Feb. 26 - March 1— Apache Junction Event Center & Rodeo Grounds
The 2015 Lost Dutchman Days, Apache Junction’s annual 3-day “signature event,” will be held at the Apache Junction Event Center and Rodeo Grounds beginning Thursday, February 26 through Sunday, March 1st.
Lost Dutchman Days continues to be a fun place to be for all ages. With a goal of “putting smiles on kid’s faces,” this 51st annual event has 3 days of Rodeo action and a Carnival that features 30+ rides and carnival attractions.
The Parade, held Saturday morning at 9 a.m., February 28, on Apache Trail, is a favorite and attracts thousands of spectators. Don’t forget the Rodeo Dance held at the Apache Junction Elks Lodge No. 2349, Saturday evening, February 28.
Enjoy the entertainment before, during, and after the rodeo on two stages at the Event Center and Rodeo Grounds.
There is a variety of high quality musical entertainment daily. In addition, there are over 100 food, information, and merchandise vendor booths on the Grounds.
Event Center admission is only $2.00 and parking is free. Rodeo and carnival tickets are available for purchase in advance at the Chamber of Commerce, Independent Newspaper, and Crazy Horse Saddle shop in Apache Junction. Tickets can also be purchased at the entrance to the Event Center and the entrance to the rodeo grandstands.
The Lost Dutchman Days Committee partners with many local youth-serving organizations and sponsors to entertain the entire family and give back to the community. Profis from this event are donated back to youth organizations and other youth-serving programs of the Apache Junction Community.
