There is a simple cheek-swab test you can take to help your doctor prescribe the correct drugs for you in the correct dose to help avoid a adverse drug reaction. The test is called pharmacogenetic testing or PGx for short. PGx tests 53 of your genes against 300+ drugs to find the medications that will work correctly for you. It can help predict which drugs are dangerous for a patient, and which drugs are safe. The PGx report is comprehensive yet simple document to read and full of clinically actionable data that any doctor can use. Please sign up at the Activities Desk.
