Resurrection High School, Pascagoula
Clare Baumhauer, RCS sophomore, and Jarrett Green, RCS freshman, served
as pages for the Mississippi House of Representatives in Jackson during late
January. Clare, Jarrett, and other students from throughout Mississippi
worked with our state’s legislature and were able to learn about and experience
state government in action. Pictured l-r are, Representative Charles Busby

Phillip Gunn.
Coach Terri Bailey, a science teacher at Resurrection School, received a $4,890
STEM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Math) grant from Huntington
Ingalls Industries. The STEM grants are awarded annually for projects with
an emphasis on integrating science, technology, engineering, and math. Coach
Bailey will use the grant to purchase a Promethean board, laptop, and software
for use in her biology, zoology, and anatomy and physiology courses. Coach
Bailey is shown working with three anatomy and physiology students, Zachary
Mitchell, on her left, Jonathon Swint and Tiana Bridges on her right.
Lyndsey Lee, a senior at Our Lady Academy, signed with the University of
Southern Mississippi to play soccer for the Golden Eagles. Lee is the daughter of
Hollie Cuevas of Picayune, Miss., and Ryan Lee of Canton, Miss.
