ART CLUB:
Our Friday, March 18,
meeting will feature encaustic artist Camille
Scott. Camille will bring supplies to enable club
members to experiment with the process of
painting with hot wax. Learn a new technique
and go home with a piece of art!  The meeting
starts at 10 a.m. in the COLORADO ROOM; after
a brief business meeting we have refreshments
and the program. Visitors are always welcome
.
BEADING GROUP
meets the first
and third Wednesdays of the month at 10 a.m.
We do all kinds of beading: embellishments on
quilts, clothing, jewelry, boxes, etc. We’re willing

CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL
COLORADO ASSOCIATION OF
VOLUNTEERS, WG CHAPTER,
will
meet Monday, March 21, at 9:30 a.m. in the
COLORADO ROOM. Please come join us and
hear speakers from CHC inform us about the
many areas we can support and how you can
get involved with our fundraisers. If you sew, knit
or crochet, we could use your talents to make
items to donate to the children!
We will be holding a Benefit Concert and Bake
Sale on Monday, April 25, from 5 p.m. to 7:30
p.m. in the AUDITORIUM. For more details go to
page 19, Windsor Happenings section.
We still have our 40th anniversary cookbooks
available for sale. Contact Bernadine Dzierson

our group and its activities or to purchase a

COMPUTERCLUB
will meetWednesday,

us for our discussion of another interesting topic.

DEMOCRATIC CLUB
will meet on
March 22 at 7 p.m. in CENTERPOINT. We
will screen “Citizen Koch,” a controversial film
about the financial political involvement of Koch.
Additionally we will provide the caucus results
and update the June primary races. Please join
us before the meeting at Blossoms Restaurant
at 5:30 p.m. for conversation and nourishment.
In this Presidential election year conversation
should be spirited.
DRUM CIRCLE:
Hand-drumming group
meets Sundays at 3 p.m. above the Auditorium
in the COLORADO ROOM. We invite you to
drop in to learn more about this relaxing and
fun activity.  No musical background is required
to participate. An instrument is available to try
during your initial visit. We enjoy participating at
talent shows, picnics, etc, here at WG, and we
also travel out into the community to perform at
assisted living/nursing homes on the last Sunday

begin at 8:15 to fill out paperwork and pay your
membership fee of $10. Arrive early. Meeting will

If you are interested in your own garden plot, WG
is your primary residency and you are physically
able to maintain a garden, call and request your
name be added to the garden waiting list. (Call

Instruction is given on bidding, play, and defense.
DUPLICATE BRIDGE:
Mondays at 1 p.m. in
the COLORADO ROOM. Residents and guests

CLASS:
Tuesdays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in
the COLORADO ROOM. This class requires
knowledge of the basics and introduces students
to intermediate concepts of bidding.
