by hand and some with the help of our clay roller. We then finish the projects
with glazes and several firings in our kiln. Our instructor is Amy Chavez.
PINS & NEEDLES
Just like the name implies, this class is all about sewing, but it doesn’t have
to be the traditional way – or it can be. We are a group of ladies that love to
gather and work on our own projects, be it a new outfit, a decorative pillow,
baby items or a new carry-all bag. We meet on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to
12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the SEWING ROOM. Our instructor
is Colleen Sizemore.
GENEOLOGY
Meets the first Friday of the month at 2 p.m. in the ALL-PURPOSE ROOM.
Interested in researching your ancestors? Come to the class to learn about
successful techniques. There will be a lecture and a chance for discussion
and questions. For more information call Marion at 303-343-1190.

The donations that members of
the WG community geneoursly
contributed to the Denver Children’s
Home holiday drive last year were so
appreciated. We thought we’d share a
note that Cynthia Courtney, Activities
Director and coordinator of the drive,
received.
Dear Cynthia,
Thanks for donating and supporting
all of us at Denver Children’s Home.
My name is Alejandro G. and I am
in the 9th grade. My favorite class
is Math because I struggle with math
and the staff here supports me and
I’m catching on.... One thing I like
about DCH is [that] the staff are here
to support me and don’t give up on
me when I push them away.
Thank you again.
