What can Community Response do?
We get this question a lot from residents who feel that we are not
doing anything about their situation.
The key part of this is you, the resident, informing us right away
when something happens. We also ask that you understand
we may be responding to other calls. If this is the case, the
CR officers should be informing you that they are currently on
another call, but will be there as soon as they can.
Again, we need you to call us as soon as something is happening and
hopefully we can get there in time to witness the offense. Evidence
gathering is the most critical part of what we do. Sometimes this
happens fairly quickly, and sometimes it takes more time. If it is
warranted and it is a criminal offense then we can get Denver Police
involved.
Community Response
From Euell R. Santistevan,
Chief of Community Response
New Officers
We have a few new officers and will be posting their pictures and
bios as they progress into their shifts. If you get a chance to meet
Eric Humphrey, Ryan Clifton or Erin Brazzil, please give them a warm
Windsor Gardens welcome. They are all great additions to our team
and should contribute greatly to this community.
CPR Classes and Refuse to be a Victim
Workshop
The Department is planning several activities for the residents,
including CPR classes, both certification and non-certification classes.
We will also be rolling out a community workshop called “Refuse to be
a Victim.” Look for details in upcoming months.

Recent Vehicle Break-ins: Keep your Doors
Locked
We have had a few vehicles broken into and most of them were
unlocked. The most important step to take to deter the common thief
is to keep your windows and doors locked. Most criminals will go after
a quick opportunity. So we ask that you keep your doors locked, and
call us immediately if you notice any suspicious activity.
I want to thank all of you for your help in keeping the community safe
for everyone.
Our number at Community Response is 303-364-4924, and you can
also use your city resources in an extreme emergency by calling 911.
