In 1991, Alex Szollosi put everything on the line to start MAX Construction, Inc.
With four kids under the age of 7, he knew that building the company of his
dreams would be challenging. But with the belief in himself, the support of his
wife Susan, and his right-hand man Wm. VonFeldt by his side, MAX Construction
was born, and moved forward to become one of the top tenant finish companies
in the Denver metro area.
Alex is the first to admit that the success of his 25-year-old company is greatly
attributed to his journey with his core team of COO Wm. VonFeldt, Chief Esti-
mator Bob VonFeldt and Vice President Mark McGann, who have stood by him
through it all, with hard work, loyalty and dedication from the beginning. This
powerful team continued to grow, currently with 20 employees, always with an
emphasis on the strong values of honesty, integrity and client satisfaction.
MAX Construction not only believes in building superior spaces, but also believes
in building the community. Alex is currently serving as the president of the board
of directors for the Denver Children’s Home, MAX’s primary, long-standing chari-
ty. The MAX team continues to support countless community outreach programs,
engaging its generous subcontractors who have also given so much.
In celebrating 25 years, MAX Construction thanks you for the ability to team up
with Denver’s finest architects, project managers, subcontractors and everyone
else we’ve had the pleasure to work with. Thank you for believing in us, and for
your continued support.
