In Remembrance
Jean Hoefer, Building 64, died on June 5, 2016.
Thomas Richard McMillan, Building 49, died on May 18, 2016. From
his wife: Tom took the hand of God and left the tragedy of life he
could no longer bear. Cancer and eyeless fallacy stole his bone and
flesh and peace. But faith and love are eternal and the grace of God
holds Tom in perfection. Blessed rest! Tom is free! In loving gratitude
and memory, Jennay Bush (I am forever your mini moose.)
Georgia Presley, Building 78, died on June 12, 2016.
Warren Rawlins, Building 52, died on June 7, 2016.
Jerry Smallin, Building 51, died June 11, 2016.  According to his
wishes, he was surrounded by his four loving children and several
grandchildren until the end.   He served in the Marines, and then
had a successful lifetime career with Martin Marietta.   When he
retired from there, he had worked his way up to a directorship.   He
welcomed everyone who came by his lanai to visit.   Including all the
dogs!   His daily humor will be missed.
Barbara Wegner, Building 9, died on March 28, 2016.
Ria Werner, Building 30, died at home on May 30, 2016. Ria was
a longtime active volunteer with the WG Activities Department –
assisting at theActivities Desk, escorting the RTD Senior Ride Events,
working as a pool monitor in the summer, and leading a bridge group.
Ria also volunteered as a Friday Night Dance host along with her
best friend Fred. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Linda Williams, Building 30, died on June 16, 2016.
LeRoy “Lee” Wolk, Building 65, died on June 6, 2016.
