The Fraud Squad Prevention Convention is coming to Windsor
Gardens on Saturday, August 20, and Sunday, August 21, in the
Auditorium, starting at 9 a.m. on both days.
The Fraud Squad is a group of concerned citizens ranging from public
officials, professionals and subject matter experts who are witnessing
a increasingly disturbing trend in our legislative and judicial branches
of our government and how it’s effecting the unknowing and vulnerable
in our society, particularly seniors.
Attending this convention you will learn about:
ƒ
ƒ
Probate court fraud and probate reform and advocacy.
ƒ
ƒ
How not to fall prey to unethical people who take advantage of
the vulnerable in the court system, including some individuals
acting as court officials, protective agencies’ representatives and
attorneys.
ƒ
ƒ
How to protect your estate and assets.
ƒ
ƒ
How seemingly innocent questions by some health professionals
can potentially turn your life upside down and even lead to your
rights being removed by being forced into a guardianship.
ƒ
ƒ
Hear from people that have been abused by the system and now
are fighting for change to protect others.
ƒ
ƒ
Learn what you can do to protect yourself and prevent others from
being harmed.
This convention is FREE of charge to inform and warn as many people
as possible to preserve their happiness, independence, finances and
their homes. You will not be asked for any money, to endorse anyone,
or to use any service or business for attending the convention.

Dayton Street will be repaved from Alameda south to Mississippi in
August.
Street maintenance crews will be doing a mill and overlay, which
means they will tear up about four inches of old asphalt and lay
new asphalt.  This is the most extensive repair process that street
maintenance does, so it will take at least two to three weeks.
Windsor Gardens residents can expect lane closures, delays and,
after the asphalt has been removed, a rough road.  Residents should
also expect that access onto Dayton from Windsor Gardens may be
blocked while crews work in the intersections.  They will not block all
the access points at once, but each intersection will be blocked at
least twice (once while removing the old asphalt and once again while
paving).
New pedestrian crossing markings and signage will also go up at the
High Line Canal crossing after paving has been done.
The start date in August depends on the weather and how quickly the
other streets being worked on get done.

Laundry Card Error
Do you know what to do if you insert your laundry card and it displays
ERR? First, you can try wiping the chip off with a bit of rubbing alcohol
on a cotton ball. If that doesn’t work, you can call MacGray/CSCSW
customer service at 844-272-9674 and ask for assistance.
The customer service center may request that you mail them the card
so that they can test for the error and verify the amount that you have
left on the card. If customer service can duplicate the error reading
and verify the amount on your card, they can send you a new card
with the amount you had left on the defective card.
