Bilingual Volunteers Wanted to Assist New Residents
Are you bilingual? Would you be willing to help assimilate new residents whose first language

Library Volunteers Wanted
Looking for a fun place to volunteer some extra hours? The library is looking for volunteers. The
job would involve helping patrons, lifting, sorting, carrying books, returning books to shelves and
reviewing books in the collection. Please come to the library to talk to us, we would love to have
you join us.
Volunteer Opportunities

We are excited to announce that two new Xerox copier machines have
been installed for resident use. These new machines are replacing
existing copiers and can be found next to the volunteer desk in the
Community Center and in the Business Center.
In addition to black and white copying, the new machines will print
and copy in color. Both machines have the ability to scan and email
documents. The machines will also print front to back (double sided
copies), collate and staple multiple page copies.
There are three (3) ways to copy or print:

Print a document from the business center computers.
(Security settings do apply. Some websites and documents are
not accessible or available for printing.)

4th of July Tournament
Signup now for a 4th of July Tournament tee time. This tournament
is fun and challenging, you vs. the course. Cost is $15, plus green
and cart fees. Famous Dave’s BBQ is catering the event, and the
Windsorettes are hosting.

Signup mid-July for the August Day Tournament, it will sell out fast.
Ricochet
Phoebe and Zoey decided to play golf in the hot weather and to ride in a cart together. Phoebe tees off and hits it
fat, leaving about 20 yards to the pin. Zoey tees off and hits to about 9 feet from the flag. Zoey takes the cart and
parks on the back side of the green. Phoebe hits her shot, and it hits the cart and goes in the hole. Phoebe shouts
“BIRDIE.” Zoey says “BOGEY.” Who’s right?
A. Zoey is right; Phoebe receives a 4 for the hole.
B. Phoebe is right; she receives a 2 for the hole.
C. Both are wrong; Phoebe’s score is 3 for the hole.
