Construction has wrapped
up on a transit-oriented apart-
ment community near Den-
ver’s Wash Park neighborhood.
Catamount Constructors Inc.
recently finished construction
on Washington Park Station, a
32-unit apartment community
at 675 E. Louisiana Ave., within
minutes of Wash Park, the Uni-
versity of Denver, Old South
Pearl Street and light rail.
The $4.7 million, 35,000-
square-foot development fea-
tures a leasing office and res-
taurant on the street level and
one- and two-bedroom apart-
ment units from 638 to 1,033 sf
on the four floors above.
Apartments include bal-
conies with glass overhead
doors, high ceilings, stainless
steel appliances, quartz coun-
ter tops and views of the Rocky
Mountains or downtown Den-
ver. Building amenities include
partially covered parking, on-
site management, a dog and
bike wash, and bike storage.
Bothwell Davis GeorgeArchi-
tects Inc. designed Washing-
ton Park Station apartments.
The project team also included
Lynn Cunningham Appliance,
Rocky Mountain Heating and
KS Enterprises (landscaping).
The infill site featured a zero
lot line, resulting in a small
staging area and requiring a
tight schedule to deliver the
project on time, according to
Catamount. The project also
was affected by the lack of
quality subcontractors avail-
able.
“The owner understood the
challenges we faced with the
regionwide labor shortage,”
said Richard McDonald, proj-
ect manager for the communi-
ty. “The owner is very pleased
with the building and they
look forward to working with
Catamount again.”

thrilled to watch the vision of
new and enhanced facilities
come alive and look forward
to starting this journey at the
groundbreaking ceremony as
we begin a new school year.”
The campus will include
the Alethia E. Morgan, M.D.,
Health Center, the 17th cen-
ter in the network of school-
based health centers oper-
ating within Denver Public
Schools and the first one in
the state of Colorado to offer
obstetrics.
Florence Crittenton Servic-

renovations. The agency has
reached nearly 77 percent of
the fundraising goal as of
October.
