No Fear Acrylics
Acrylics are quick drying paints that are
popular with artists and crafters alike.
Learn how to mix colors, apply paint in
various consistencies, and use specific
brushes or tools to create desired effects.
Class is designed for folks who have little
or no prior painting experience, and basic
instructions will be given to beginners, while
others who are experienced can explore
and paint on their own with instructor
assistance as needed. Take home a canvas
that shows your new skills.

Batik Watercolor Painting
In just a few hours, learn the fun process
of batik wax resist on rice paper to make
a gorgeous watercolor painting suitable
for framing. Batik is an ancient Indonesian
technique of layering wax to resist paint or
dyes. Start by tracing a prepared design
(there are many gorgeous ones to choose
from) and then learn how to layer the wax
and paint colors of your choice to build up
depth and color. Then iron out the wax and
voila! You have a gorgeous picture ready
to slip in a frame.

Tharp
