Gladys Martin,

Rojean (Jean) Rundle
, Building 41, a resident of WG since 1976, died
at home August 19, 2016, surrounded by family and loving caregivers.
She was 97. She and her husband Earl, who preceded her in death in
1985, loved living here. He was a member of the men’s golf club, the
Dukes, and she went on to be president of the women’s golf club, the
Windsorettes, in 1992 and served as tournament chairman for many
years. She was building treasurer for 25 years and was a member of
the Tuesday Girls and the Calcutta Club. She enjoyed playing golf until
age 83.  She also enjoyed the bowling team, ceramics facility, bridge
club, gardening and the social activities. Jean’s family would like to
thank the WG response team and ambulance crew for the prompt,
professional and tender care that they provided. Absolutely top notch.
Henry Slade
, Building 59, died on September 25, 2016, after a short
illness. He had lived at Windsor Gardens for over 20 years. Henry
will be remembered for his early morning exercise routine, his love
of golf, and the produce he grew and generously gave away. He was
a wonderful, compassionate, caring and helpful neighbor and friend.
Henry, you will be missed.
Linda Trabert
, Building 5, died on September 20, 2016.
