Board in Motion
At their September 30, 2016, meeting the Windsor Gardens Board of
Directors approved the following motions:
Activities Committee motion to schedule an evening comedy show
for the residents at Windsor Gardens.
Finance Committee motion to notify Mitch Behm, Financial
Consultant with Raymond James, to make cash available from
the Capital Reserve account necessary to cover the budgeted
$330,000 of capital projects scheduled for October.
Finance Committee motion to transfer $225,983.53 to the capital
reserve account.
Finance Committee motion to transfer $138,962.25 to the tax
reserve account.
Policy Committee motion to deny an owner’s request for an
exemption to the Modification Policy.
Public Relations Committee motion to go forward with hiring an
individual to update the Windsor Gardens Facebook page and
maintain it throughout the year at a cost of approximately $500 per
month.
Restaurant Committee motion to purchase a plate warmer at a cost
of $2,351.
Restaurant Committee motion to present the revised lease renewal
for Blossoms to the Board of Directors.
Motion to amend the Outdoor Seating Policy, item number 8, to
read:
Benches, seating or seating areas may not be placed under the
canopies of four-story buildings. The outdoor seating allowed
at the two-story buildings will be decided by the Architectural
Review Committee on a case by case basis. The approval for
bench seating may be withdrawn, at any time, by the Board of
Directors if the seating creates ongoing and verified nuisance or
noise disturbances.
Motion to amend the Sale of Personal Property Policy, item number
6, to be in agreement with the verbiage from the Signs Policy in
regard to open houses:
The seller is advised that “tent type” signs may be placed on
Windsor Gardens’ property announcing the Estate Sale on
Saturday and Sunday only. These signs must be removed by Sellers
the same day. No probe signs are allowed on the property and no
sign, poster, billboard, advertising device or display of any kind
shall be erected or maintained anywhere on a Unit, the grounds or
Common Elements, or the exterior of a building.
Motion on the recommendation of the attorney’s office to move
forward with the judicial foreclosure of a unit.
Motion to waive the fine and suspend legal action for 90 days for an
odor issue if the owner is amendable to specific agreements.
