Other things you need to know
•
Holiday decorations should be determined by a majority of
the residents in the building. Buildings are encouraged to use
professional installers.
•
All electric decoration, electrical cords and extension cords
should carry the Underwriters Laboratories seal of approval.
Outdoor lights should be rated for outdoor use.
•
Do not overload building electrical circuits. Consider using lanai
outlets when feasible.
•
Call the Maintenance Department if you have any questions
about circuitry.
•
All decorations must be set back five feet from the sidewalks to
allow for snow removal.
•
Be safe. Residents are not to climb on the buildings or
canopies, or place themselves in dangerous situations in
common areas.
•
There will be three judging categories: 2-story buildings / town
houses; 4-story buildings; and Community Favorite. Winners
will be announced at the community Celebration of Lights on
December 14.
