2016 Board of Directors Election
Board Election Voting Schedule
October 3 through October 14: VOTING PERIOD
Ballots may be mailed to or dropped off at the Association office
during business hours, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, from October 3
through October 13, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on October 14.
October 14: LAST DAY TO VOTE
Ballots must be returned to the Association office by 3 p.m., October
14.
October 14, 4:30 p.m.
Board will meet at 4:30 p.m. to certify the
results of the election. Immediately following certification of the results,
the Election Committee will notify all candidates of the results and a
signed copy of the results will be posted at the Community Center.

24-hour ballot drop-off boxes open to receive mail

Phase 1 Voter Service and Polling Centers open,
October 24 through Election Day, November 8.
The voter service center closest to Windsor Gardens
from October 24 through November 4 is at the
Montclair Recreation Center, 729 N. Ulster Way.
Beginning November 5, Windsor Gardens will open
as a voter service center. See hours below.

Phase 2 Voter Service and Polling Centers open,
November 5 through Election Day.
Windsor Gardens is a Phase 2 Voter Service and
Polling Center (Auditorium) and will be open:
Saturday, November 5
10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Monday, November 7
10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Election Day, Tuesday, November 8
7 a.m. – 7 p.m.

The fall 2016 Colorado ballot promises to stir up strong
emotions in the state. With a variety of complex issues
coming to a vote, it is important that we understand the
ballot and what is at stake. Join Active Minds on Thursday,
October 20, at 2 p.m. in CenterPoint for an objective review
of the ballot issues and a presentation of the arguments on
each side of the proposals. Please sign up at the Activities
Desk.
Windsor Gardens residents: Do you need to
change your address to vote?
Have you recently moved? Do you want to change any information
on your registration? Do you want to change your party affiliation?
Is there someone who is deceased whose name may need to be
removed?
Windsor Gardens residents will be located in the lobby of CenterPoint
to assist you every Monday in October, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Please bring your Colorado ID (not your WG card).
2016 General Election
Denver Mail Ballot & Voter Service
Centers System
You will receive your Denver election ballot in the mail sometime after
October 17. Your ballot can be mailed back in to the Denver Elections
Division or dropped off at one of the Denver voter service centers.
If you have had a recent address change, please visit www.
govotecolorado.com to look up your address on file and make sure
it is current. The deadline to make changes to your voter record and
have a ballot delivered via mail is 8 days before Election Day. After
that a voter may visit any Voter Service and Polling Center to vote in
person or obtain a mail ballot.
Additional services available at Voter Service and Polling Centers
include ballot replacement for lost or spoiled ballots, emergency
registration and ADA compliant voting machines.
All voted ballots must be in the possession of the Denver Elections
Division by 7 p.m. on Election Day in order to be counted.
